More recently, in 2023, and in partnership with the film's director Rodrigo de Rebello de Andrade, I wrote the score for the short film "Encoberto". You can watch the trailer at the following link:
Overall, it had some great public results:
“Encoberto” was distinguished in 2023 by the Portuguese Academy of Cinema with the Sophia Student award for best fiction short film and was part of the Curtas de Vila do Conde program.
And on the day I write this text, “Encoberto” is a semi-finalist for the Academy of Cinema of the United States student awards, which awards the Oscars.
What can I say? Again, it was a fun experience and hope to have the opportunity to score a movie again, one of this days.
